SUMMARY: If you are looking to use this you better make sure you have a damn good computer spec. For some reason I thought the recording/encoding would also be using the Graphics card as well. My computer knowledge is limited but when I look at my computer processes the CPU is at about 70% and the Graphics Card is at about 1%. I think i'll have to put this one down to my computer spec not quite being able to match the encoding/decoding when it is recording. HOWEVER, still the same issues with recordings. The cable supplied must have either been faulty or that there was not enough data running between them. I thought for what it was worth that I bought another USB 3.0 cable as that was the cheapest option for debugging. Sometimes it would not recognise the ps4/xbox at all (is the HDMI input connected? / one moment please.), seem to be in an endless case of resetting the capture card / pc / ps4 to try and get some kind of reset on them. I dropped the settings right down to mobile and still had some peculiar issues. To be fair my computer spec just about hits the required settings (i5 intel). The second was that the recording was losing sound / poor frame rate and just terrible recordings all together.
The first issue I had was getting the software to recognise the hardware, even though I had USB 3.0 drivers installed, I had to update them manually.
